Some Good Kid Pictures

Here are a few of my favorite pictures of the kids. Baking, skiing, Calvin pretending to be a meerkat, etc... They really love playing together now. Sama is 20 months old and Calvin will be 4 very soon.

Heidi

We have some sad news, Heidi is no longer with us. This is a picture of our last day with her. We visited all our old spots together. We all miss her very much!

Visit from the Minnesotans

Calvin's Aunt Julie and cousins Amy, Katie and Carly came out to CA for a visit.

They had a lot of fun! Boy did he miss them when they went home.

Thanks to Grandma & Grandpa Washburn, we finally have Calvin in appropriate college attire.

He smiles a lot during the Michigan fight song, but hasn't decided to participate yet. Maybe by the time we make it to his first Michigan football game!

Calvin has been testing the waters of Grammy and Grampa Bonn's pool.

So far, he likes it! Especially when Dad goes with him.

There's Cake??

Calvin had the best 1 year birthday party. Both grandparents made it into town for the event! He liked his chocolate cake!

Look Ma... We're Back!!

Hi family and friends...so when kids get mobile. You're free time to blog disappears. Sorry about the delay. We're back now and Calvin is 14 months old.

Little Stinker!

Our "he-man" little boy managed to pull himself up in his crib! Dan wisely had to lower the mattress to keep him contained when he wakes up and decides he needs to climb up looking for us.

Is this normal for a "just turned 6 months today" little boy??
I feel like the parents in the opening scene of Superman where the little boy lifts up the car. Let's hope this he isn't lifting Heidi next!

Apples & Pumpkins

We took a Fall adventure to Oak Glen, California where you can pick your own apples and visit the pumpkin patch. It was great weather and we had fun. Not to mention the apples were YUMMY!

The Green Goblin!

We've gotten a little behind on the site here... but Cal is already going on 6 months! Our 5 month adventures included learning to "commando" crawl around the room (especially if he saw the electrical cords, TV remote or other such forbidden items), starting part time day care (which he is not a fan of yet) and eating REAL food.

He is sporting his "green goblin" look here while eating peas. But, he is a terrific eater and has managed peas, green beans, sweet potatoes, pears and bananas along with the rice cereal. Not bad!
